Adopt a Family

Overview

Besides direct financial contributions to Beth Shalom, we also welcome sponsors to "adopt" families, helping to pay for their living expenses during their transition (This is a great way for churches to get involved). Each family needs income coming out of prison, but jobs are difficult to find even though rent, food, and electricity need to be paid for. In the first 30-60 days that families come to Beth Shalom, they need sponsors willing to donate approximately $500 / month for their living expenses.
